Storytime Sundays – My YouTuber Book Collection

Hey!! Sorry for only getting round to post till Sunday this week but I was super busy with school and the weekend is the best time for posting and I’m really trying to write in advance but didn’t get a chance to recently but anyhow!! Got my mock exam results back and I got 3 A’s and a C so yeah super happy cause the C was in my hardest class which I’m surprised I even passed tbh 

So today I’m basically showing you all my YouTube related books I have read some of them but this is just a wee overview and I might do a review next week of one of them or another book I have read 😄

Let’s goooo……

1. Zoella – Girl Online

This was the first YouTuber book I bought and despite all the drama of people saying she didn’t write it, I still like it! To be fair it’s super childish but so am I so I didn’t really mind 😂 Also I got to get it signed by Zoe and meet her for like 30 seconds which was amazing!!! However, I really didn’t feel the need to get the second one that came out recently as it’s probably not any better than the first!

2. Sprinkle of Glitter (Louise Pentland) – Life with a sprinkle of glitter & her 2016 Diary!

Sprinkle of glitter is my all time favourite YouTuber so when I saw she was bringing out 2 books I knew I needed to have them! I love her life with a sprinkle of glitter book as it gives you some great tips and advice. I also love the diary and use it everyday as each week it has a fun thing on the other page like DIY’s, tips, motivation or any other random fun thing!!!

3. Tanya Burr – Love Tanya

This is such an all round good book! It has many different sections like confidence and happiness, life and baking. It’s also got a little bit of a background into Tanya at the start which is lovely and the pictures are beautiful!

4. Dan and Phil – The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire!

Ufgghscggfuhhdhd I love Dan and Phil!!!! I got this at their tour – which was also amazing – sadly I didn’t get to meet them we were able to buy them signed at the tour! It’s amazing as it is a full on life story of them both right from when they were born, all through childhood, school up till now! It’s funny and really well written and it feels like I can hear them saying the words as I read it as its so genuine. 

5. Pointless Blog (Alfie Deyes) – The Pointless Book 1 & 2

These are a blatant copy of ‘Wreck this journal’ but oh well!!! They are fun and a good thing to do when bored! As they have a task on each page which could be writing stuff in the book, doing stuff outside of the book (like impressions) and destroying the book!

6. Carrie Hope Fletcher – All I Know Now

I love Carrie so I asked for her book for Christmas and I got it! I have started to read it and so far it’s great! She is a theatre star which is why the book is layed out like Acts instead of chapters. It gives you good advice as well as funny anecdotes of her life!

7. Tyler Oakley – Binge

I haven’t started to read this one yet as I just got this one for Christmas too but even without reading it I know it will be amazing!!! It’s basically an autobiography of Tyler’s life with lots of laughs throughout as well as some sad parts! Can’t wait to read it properly!

Top 7 Favourite YouTubers!!!

Hey!!! It’s me again – I told you I would post more regularly!!! 😋 So today I thought I would finally get around to doing a post that I was asked t do AGESSSS AGOOOO!!!!! To be honest the person who asked me to do this probably doesn’t remember and no longer cares but oh well I will just do it anyway!!!😂 Hope you enjoy!

1. Sprinlke of Glitter

• Also known as Louise Pentland, she makes videos about beauty, lifestyle and fashion. I feel such a connection with her as I can totally relate with everything she talks about and her personality is so kind and seems really genuine. I admire her confidence – booth in her own skin and just in general – I hope I can one day be a fraction as confident as she is!! What I love about her is she is hilarious, has great advice and is beautiful inside and out. Finally, when she vlogs there are just my absolute favourite thing to watch!!

2. Gabriella Lindley

  

• I can’t even describe how much I adore Gabriella she is such a funny, pretty and normal kind of girl. Plus she loves pretty little liars and Disney so she’s just perfection 😂 She aslo makes beauty, lifestyle and fashion videos as well as having an amazing vlogging channel. I think she’s such a lovely person and dream of meeting her 😍 she recently uploaded her first ever music cover and it was AMMAAAZZZINGGGGG!!!!!! Which adds to the many reasons why I love her – her makeup is always great, she edits her videos really nicely and she is very relatable.

3. Zoella

  

• OF COURSEEEE!!!!!!!!! How can you not like Zoe, I admit I didn’t always like her or any beauty YouTuber to be honest as in the past I was not that in to makeup etc. But omg Zoe is just goals!!! I love her relationship with her boyfriend Alfie, I love and desperately want their Pug called Nala and her beauty range is to die for!!! I still can’t believe it but I actually meet her ….. Well for like two seconds when she signed my copy of her first book, Girl Online, it was literally the best day ever 😭😂😁 I love how brave and happy she always is because dealing with anxiety and panic attacks on top of YouTube stress and being a celebrity must be bloody hard which I don’t think the “haters” give her enough credit for – and any other YouTuber for that matter!

4. Beckie0

 

• She is a less well known YouTuber and makes videos about her awful condition called Trichotillomania (stress etc causing extreme hair pulling out) which really make me admire and empathise with her. She also talks about beauty and lifestyle and much more from lush hauls, favoutite films and my favourite videos of hers to watch are Q and A’s!!! She is always a so uplifting and funny person to watch!!!

5. Saccone-Joly’s

 

• This is an Irish family of vloggers who now live in London. They post vlogs everyday which is the best part!!! The husband is called Jonathan the wife is called Anna, the daughter is called Emilia and their son is called Eduardo they are such a sweet family and allways get up to such fun and interesting to watch kind of things. They have six dogs which are far toooooo cute!!!!!! I think I love watching them so much because I would really love to one day have such an amazing family and yeah they just make everyday that little bit better 😆😁

6. Alfie Deyes

 

• He is Zoella’s boyfriend and makes really funny videos that just cheer me up all the time. I love his childish and naive nature and he seems like a really awesome person! I love his trying American candy videos and all of his weird challenge videos. I also really like his and Zoe’s Sims videos as I am ADDICTED to the Sims 4!! He also makes really good vlogs as they are pretty much my favourite kind of video to watch.

7. Eve Bennett

 

• She is a less famous YouTuber, but I still absolutely love her. She makes lots of beauty videos from makeup tutorials to hauls and lifestyle videos like what’s on my iPhone and room tours. I just love her bubbly personality and I’m sure she will soon grow to be a much more well known YouTuber. She is so talented at the whole YouTube thing and is great at makeup as well as the fact she loves the exact same kinds of clothes as me 😄

So there you go hope you liked finding out whose videos I obsess over!!! 😆 I highly recommend you check out each and every one of these people because I love them all soooo much!!!!! There are so many more people I wold love to talk about but if I didn’t narrow it down to only 7 there would be hundreds!!!  Who are your favourite YouTubers? Do we have any that are the same? Review: Lush Bubble Bar – ‘Dreamy Candy Bath’

Hey!!! It’s me again … long time no see! – I know what your thinking ” Who the hell is this ….  OHHHHHH yeah… I remeember now … she’s that weirdo from months ago who did a few blog posts … then disappeared off the face of the earth!” If you thought that then my friend you are correct the powerful indesructable force that pushed me to cucoon myself under blankets and books is a certian thing called ….. EXAMS!!!! But now they are OVERRRR!!!!! And I can have a life again!!!!!

I promise you from the bottom of my heart I will post at least once a week and hopefully a lot more than that!!!!

So to kick of my time here again I will be doing a wee lush review – hope you enjoy and now let’s get straight into the review! 😄

Dreamy Candy Bath – Lush Bubble Bar

Of course it’s a Lush product I can’t live without my lush bath every week – before you judge I shower during the week😇 –  it’s what I look forward too after a long week at school! I have tried quite a lot of their products mainly bath bombs and bubble bars my favourites are the Twilight bath bomb and the Comforter bubble bar!!! This one comes with many benefits but one major downfall.

Pros

The bubble bar itself just looks so cute!!!! I love the pink colour and the pretty little flower on the top! And it’s got a slight sparkly tint in it which makes it even more enticing!! Plus I just love the way Lush displays their products in store itthe shops just look so AWESOME… I would absolutely love to get a job in one whilst at university or whenever… 😍

Then the smell…… Oh my god…. It’s amazing… It’s just like candy floss!!! It gave me the feeling of being at a carnival surrounded by roller coasters and clowns – and by whatever else happens at carnivals 😜 – and then the comforting smell of candy floss and popcorn and hotdogs that floats through the air from the food stalls … If that makes sense!!! 😂 I’m one of those people who just loves smells they just take me back to the place where I first smelt them …. Please tell me it not just me!?!?!? 😳

It’s super moisturising … You don’t even understand HOW nice it makes your skin feel so soft!!! You can literally feel it making your skin soft and velvety to the touch whilst siting in your bath! I have Keratosis Pilaris, ( which is when the patches of affected skin will be covered in tiny spiky bumps, which may be white, red or skin-coloured. This spotting looks like “chicken skin” or permanent goose pimples, and the skin feels rough, like sandpaper: it’s not contagious or painful or really harmful so don’t worry it’s actually quite common I know a few people who also have it) and it even made my arms and legs (worse affected areas) feel so smooth and silky soft which I found amazing!!! This is due to the fact the 14 ingredients include fair trade organic cocoa butter, fair trade vanilla absolute and almond oil; they alltogether provide perfect conditioning, softening and hydrating effect on your skin as well as making you, your bath and pretty much your whole house after using it smell gorgeous!!! 😆

It’s perfect for relaxing as the smell combined with the amazing hydrating effect it has on your skin just chill you right out and completely makes you feel bloody brilliant!!!

Finally, the price for such a wonderful and beneficial product…. Is unbelievably only £2.75!!!! WHAT!?!? After using it I really felt like I was using a much more expensive and high end skin care product which adds to the pampering effect that this gives you.

Cons

disapointing bubbles

Despite my complete adoration of this product I think it fails in a majorly important area…. It dose t actually make A LOT of bubbles…. Don’t get me wrong it made quick a few bubbles and these felt amazingly moistureising when rubbed on your skin… But they just weren’t that big and there were few and far between… Plus it didn’t turn the bath water pink like I thought it would… It just looked a bit dirty and shimmery!!! Which was all a bit disappointing 😐

Overall

I like to cut them up so its easier to crumble

Despite the lack of bubbles and theft the it didn’t change the colour of the water I would 100% recommend this product as it smells gorgeous and I could smell it on my skin for a long time after bathing! Also, I can’t even put into words how well it moistureises your skin and think it would be perfect for anyone with very dry, rough or a fellow Keratosis Pilaris sufferer like me 😁 I will definitely be repurchasing it in the future and it’s so cheap it will be easy to do so!

Duke Of Edinburgh

Check Out My Last Post!!! ⬅️⬅️ Liebster Award!!!⬅️⬅️

Okay … so I said I would post on Monday but obviously I’m awfull and forgot it was my Duke Of Edinburgh ( DofE for short ) expedition that week and then I fell ill last week so I was trying to do absolutely nothing!😆

Then I thought why not write a post about my DofE expedition!!! So I hope you guys enjoy this and don’t find this boring!

Overview

Basically, if you don’t know what Duke Of Edinburgh is, it’s programmes are at three progressive levels which, if successfully completed, lead to a Bronze (I’m doing bronze at the minute), Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awardselect and set objectives in each of the following areas:

• Volunteering: undertaking service to individuals or the community  – I worked in a charity shop on a Saturday for 3 hours for 6 months.
• Physical: improving in an area of sport, dance or fitness activities – I joined the badminton club at my school at practiced once a week for 3 months 
• Skills: developing practical and social skills and personal interests – I learnt to cook and bake things I haven’t before for 3 months.
• Expedition: planning, training for and completion of – for bronze – a one night camping trip in the countryside – we went to Aberfoyle

 

• At Gold level, participants must do an additional fifth Residential section, which involves staying and working away from home doing a shared activity.

To achieve an award, you must work on each section for a minimum period of time, and must be monitored and assessed by someone with knowledge of the chosen activities. Each progressive level demands more time and commitment from participants: Bronze 3–6 months; Silver: 6–9 months; Gold: 12–18 months and you need to do each section for at least one hour a week. 

My Experience  

  

I’m participating in DofE as part of a team at my school lead by our geography teacher and it has about 20 people  from my year in it.

• Firstly, for volunteering every Saturday I would go to my local Cancer Research UK charity shop and volunteer from from 11:00 till 14:00 and I would do something different t almost every time I went there! My title was stockroom assistant but I did much more than that 😝 … I did help out in the back room by putting out stock, looking through donations, doing work on the computer and sorting out stock into their own baskets ( like tops into their own basket , men’s trousers in their own one etc..) Also I would help out in the shop too by tidying up, sorting shells and helping on the till. But the best thing I did was go to the supermarket a few minutes walk from the charity shop and stand outside it and have the little donatin tin and sell pins and braclets – it was such a great experience! It felt good to be helping a charity and also give me good work experience- I would definitely recommend this as a good thing to do if you want to do DofE or just want more life/work experience. 

• Then for the physical, I chose to go to a badminton club on a Monday after school. It was actually not as bad as I first thought it would be, as it turned out quite fun and I achieved my goal of learning how to ‘serve’ so that made it really good 😜 but I have to say it took a lot for me to stay at school on a Monday for an extra hour to do physical exercise when all I wanted to do was go home and that’s what all of my friends were doing … But thankfully I managed to complete it!!! 

• Then for skills, I got my dad who is a chef to teach me how to cook/bake new and tasty things every weekend. I started off – for baking – really easy with cupcakes and brownies and then progressed to macaroons which were hard but really fun and so yummy!!! Also – for cooking – I started off with homemade bread and then protested to a full meal of chicken curry and a chicken stir fry and lots of other things! ( as you can see my favourite kind of meal always involve chicken 😂 ) It’s really good as I actually think this will really help me when I’m older as I used to not have a clue how to actually cook a meal but now I’m pretty confident I can make something quite tasty and healthy! 

• Finally, for the expedition my group went to are really gorgeous part of Aberfoyle in Scotland. What we had to do was walk for six hours through hills and horrible terrain to this castle were we would set up camp, then cook our dinner, pee in the trees and then get up and walk for another six hours  all of this was with a huge backpack on our backs with everything we needed in them …. then it was over 😋 I was sharing a tent with two really nice girls who I don’t usually talk to but were literally so nice ☺️ During the first days walk, I spent the time being the slow ones at the back with a nice girl and her boyfriend so we all just made each other laugh and had a good time which made time go faster! When we got to the campsite I helped put up the tent but I was horrendous but I’m sure will improve 😭😳 …. Maybe 😓 ….. Then the dreaded thing happened ……. I need the toilet 😱😱😲😲😨😨😳😳😩😩😥😥😤😤😡😡😖😖😭😭 ….. So my leader told me to walk along this path and pick a spot (far enough away that they couldn’t see me obviously) …. Yeah that’s right I said path ……. A path I saw a couple walking on not to long ago ….. I quite frankly wanted to die at this point so I took my packet of Despicable Me 2 minion tissues ( because yeah I’m classy like that 💁🏼) and my strawberry laces flavoured hand sanitizer (because I’m such a two year old 👶🏼) and got down to business beside the biggest tee I could find quite far along this PATH and beside a massive stone that I used as 1- a table and 2- something to hold onto …… It was one of the strangest and hardest things I’ve ever done and let’s leave it at that …. All I can say is I massively missed my real toilet! 😂😭🚽 Also, we had such a laugh that night it’s that kind of funny where you can’t ever explain it to anyone not even yourself once it’s over,then we add hot chocolate that night which was heaven and heat us up fort like a second  and then I went to bed. We frezzed … Literally I was shivering and my teeth were chattering during the night and when in the morning we reluctantly got up we found out why we we so bloody cold…. The ground and our tent was covered in a thick layer of frost and icy coldness …. which made the tent damp …..and then my sleeping bag touched then sides of the tent ….. which made my sleeping bag damp…..  so basically I was having the night of my life 😂😭 but we got heated up when we started walking again. It was oiling hot … I got sunburn on my face😡 …. That’s crazy Scottish weather for you … When the end was in sight we were literally hobbling through the forest and our feet,backs and everything was in extrem pain but it all changed when we saw our white mini bus that would drive us home…something whitin us kicked in and we literally sprinted to the bus … Many selfies and high fives were exchanged with my group 😝 what made it really special was that these people weren’t my “friends” at school in the real sense of the word but they were amazing on those two days that we spent together … Sounds stupid… They probably didn’t really care I was there or anything but they were just nice that all 😆 

To top the day of when we arrived back at school the whole group hobbled of the bus, in extreme pain, with hunched back, blistered feet and with a new favourite word for every step they took “Ouch …owww… oww!!” ….. I had to walk home … And we had to take our huge backpacks home with everything still in them …. This caused pain when walking home and made me look extremely stupid!!!! 😖😳😂😭

 

But when I got home I went for the nicest bath with a lush Easter egg bath bomb which was just brilliant and my parents get me a Domminoes Pizza for my dinner so was happy 😝😝😝🍕🍕🍕🎉🎉🎉

This expedition was just a practice for the real one in June which I’m super excited and nervous for!!! If you ever get the opportunity to do Duke of Edinburgh then I strongly recommend you do as it helps you I so many different ways and is really good fun!!! I had such a great time and it made me apreciate my bed, my heating and most of all … My toilet! 😂

11 Random Facts About Me!!!

1. YouTube Addict through and through

2. I’m petrified of the dentists

3. I would kill for an Apple MacBook- but I mean come on now …. wouldn’t we all!?!?

4. I cry … A LOT!!! And at the most random things like a few days ago I cried watching a Tanya Burr vlog … Don’t have a clue why!?!? Yeah … I’m a really emotional person I guess 😂

5. For the past few years I have had an obsession with having 3 calendars – I like to have a Sherlock, doctor who and band/singer related one ( at the minute it’s Ed Sheeran but last year it was one direction and the year before JLS ) :oops:😩😭😜😝:)

6. I love soap and glory and so do both of my sisters … It’s kind of their fault they introduced me to it and now I adore it!!! 😝 (especially hand food and body butter!)

7. Me and my friends love KPop ( big bang is my favourite band you must go listen to them on YouTube!!!!)

8. I bought a violin to learn how to play it for my skill in Duke of Edinburgh and It was too hard ( so I did cooking instead!) and now it sits in the corner of my room glaring at me! 😭😱

9. I have around 30 owl related products from plushies to cushion and clothes to lip balms :oops::oops:😁:oops: it’s an addiction

10. I love Eastenders, pretty little liars and the vampire diaries!!!!

1. What is your favorite subject to blog about?

– I have enjoyed writing about beauty related things so far but I’m excited to write about more lifestyle things and book reviews or products reviews. I like doing ‘favourite’ or wishlist posts ***hint hint I have a luxury wishlist coming up*** 😂

2. Coffee or tea?

– TEA all the way!!! I love a cuppa nearly every day!!! My mum always moans at me because I have nearly 3 spoons of sugar in my tea!!! 😜

3. Top 5 books/films

– Films = All the Harry Potter films, Any and Every Disney movie, The Borrowers, Big Hero 6 and Panic Room!!!

4. Favourite season and why?

– Summer because there’s no school, it’s warm ( well as warm as it can be in Scotland 😂) and I get to go on holiday with my family!!!

5. Dream holiday destination?

– Probably America because I really want to go to all the cool American shops like Target and Walmart and go shopping in Sephora or Bath and body works. Also I want to desperately see Wicked on Broadway *** cries a little inside*** and I want to go to all the rubbishy touristy places that most Americans are probably sick off tourists going on about 😜

6. Favourite cocktail?

– Obviously never had an alcoholic one but when I was on holiday in Turkey I went to a restaurant that did children’s fruity cocktails and they were all named after Disney princess’s… I think if I remember right my favourite was a Cinderella which had tropical juice, strawberries and pineapple in it 😂

7. Most embarrassing moment?

– Right this is going to be hard to narrow down … Okay … Years ago I was running up the stairs racing my dad who was in the lift to get into my flat and when I got to my floor I heard a phone ringing and assumed my dad was already there and waiting for me and that it was his phone that was ringing. Soo back then I used to constantly shout “Your phones goin!!!” when I heard a phone ringing…. So naturally I burst through the stairs door to my landing and shouted “Your Phones Goin!!!!!” to what I thought would be my dad … But … No … It was a random stranger ( a builder in fact, working in my flat) and he gave me an awkward smile and nod of the head and said ” haha … Yeah …. Thanks …. I got it” with the worlds most awkward laugh. All I can remember next is trying to mumble ha no sorry I thought you were someone else but I think that came out as

“HA …. NO ….. urghaaghh uhguhu!?!?!?!?!?”

Yeah ….. he just looked confused as hell and I slunk away to my flat and died with massive embarrassment 😭

8. Favourite beauty treatment?

– I had a Turkish Bath when I was on holiday and it feel like heaven. It consisted of going in the sauna and sweating like an insane pig, then going into a massive tiled room and throwing freezing cold water over each other that caused extreme pain and then lying on a big platform where a strange Turkish man put soapy bubbles and scrubby things on you and then you went then another freezing cold water throwing bit to wash this all off you (although this sounds horrific and illegal it was AMAZING!!!) . Then, we got a honey face and body massage and got to go in a hot tub which was literally one of the best things ever!! – So yeah whatever category of beauty treatments this comes under, this is what I pick 😂 lol

9. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

– Well ideally I would love to have finished college/university and be getting and job, have

– I have a dog so I must say dogs but I also really want a cat!!! I will compromise and say dogs because I want to get. Pug sooooooooooooooooo badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

– Instagram of course!!!! I love to take pictures so it’s just an addictive site for me!!!! My favourite account is Velvet Ghost ( aka Gabriellla Lindley) you MUST check her Instagram, YouTube or Twitter out!!!! She is so nice and not fake like some other YouTubers!! 😄

– Bronzer I’m soo pale … I don’t think I could live without it!! Besides my checks are already pink enough it’s annoying! 😁

Lipgloss or Lipstick?
– I like Lipstick because Lipgloss can be really sticky and doesn’t last long but lipsticks are more likely to be moisturising and last all day!

Eyeliner or Mascara?
– Mascara because I’m rubbish at eyeliner so it would love life without it 😂 plus mascara iz so fun to put on 🙈

– Foundation is my literal life it hides all the things I want hidden and I rarely use concealer … the foundation I use (rimmel wake me up) is gorgeously shinny and makes my face brighter so I have to say foundation!

– Neutral … I love bronze colours on my eyes I like it suits my eye colour and skin tone! I also like doing a smokey eye with blacks and slivers though!! But, I would like to be braver when it comes to colour on my eyes … maybe I will this spring/summer … you never know 😄

– I HATE JEANS!!!! yeah not a fan … I think the put you in unnecessary discomfort … jogy bottoms as I call them aren’t flattering and I only own one pair of them …. I LIVE IN LEGGINGS!!! they are my life and I’m proud …. They are comfy and come in pretty patterns! 😁

Long or short sleeves?
– Both depends on the weather ☺

Dresses or skirts?
– I love dresses so much I have a lot of them and wear them all the time but Skirts annoy me so I have less of them

Stripes or Plaid?
– Stripes definitely I love white and navy stripe together I think they are really cute 🙂 – Plus, I don’t think I can rock the Plaid look 😛

Flip Flops or Sandals?
– Sandals all the way because they are comfier and look nicer … With flip flops the bit in between your toes annoys me sooo much!!

-I’m obsessed with scarves … I have far too many!!!! They are just the best part of any outfit…. And come to think of it… I don’t own a hat!

Studs or dangly earrings?
– *** don’t be made okay*** I don’t have my ears pierced!!!! … I’m just not into poking holes in my body to but metal into all right!!

Necklaces or Bracelets?
– I go through phases where I like one and not the other I love sparkly brackets most of the time though – but if the necklace has an Owl on it I’m ALL over that in a split second!!! 😂

– Hoodies are soo comfy so I wear them when I go ‘food shopping’ (to Tesco or Asda) or when I take my dog for a walk but I usually wear jackets when I go out properly school or to the high street etc 😁

-Naturally wavey … so I like to straighten it but then I also LOVE to curl it and get it back to how curly it was when I was younger!!!

– Ponytail when I do my hair I’m never awake enough to concentrate on doing a bun!! 😋

-Bobby Pins they are ALLWAYS a life saver! … but also a pain in the but cause I find mine everywhere … around my room, in my bag and all around the house in unexpected drawers or corners!!! … Please tell me I’m not the only one?!?!

-None… but sometimes if I’m adventurous and do a fancy ‘up do’ I will use hair spray

-Very long and I love it!!!

– My hair is light blonde with ombre ends so it’s even more light there … So definitely light is my favourite!!! 😄

-No ‘fringe’ or side parting … I have a middle parting so I guess that’s not any of those 😜

I just wanted to tell you all that I just reached 100 followers and I’m stunned!

I don’t know how this happened but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope this blog will continue for a long time because it’s allready made me feel so much happier!

What’s in my make up bag?

Hello there beautiful people! See that caught your attention – today’s post if you didn’t get it from the title is a “What’s in my makeup bag!” So here goes – hope you enjoy! 😸

Make-up Bag

• As you can see I use the ‘Zoella Guinea Pig Make-Up Bag’, which you can get from Superdrug (UK) for only £8.
• I love this because its soo cute and fits everything I need perfectly!
• Plus its pink – so what’s not to love!?!?

Foundation

Rimmel London / Wake Me Up Foundation /                               201 Classic Beige / £8

• This is my all-time favourite foundation … its just bloody brilliant! It has great coverage and is easy to put of with my wee brush which (I’m not even going to lie) is from Primark for £1 (Its actually really good okay!)
• What i love about this foundation is that it has little bits of gliitter in it so it leaves your face looking refresshed and glowing – And I think the price is great for what you get!!!
• I need this some mornings to make me actually look awake because you all know what its like to be up late studying (ha! cough*** watching Netflix***cough) and when you get up you look like a walking zombie! – so for these occasions this is a lifesaver!

Concealer

Rimmel London / Hide The Blemish Concealer /                      004 Natural Beige / £4

• I’m not usually too fussy when it comes to concealer but lately I’ve been sticking to this same one and I’ve went thorough a lot ( an unspeakable amount) this is actually one I’m about to throw out because I’ve completely used it all and desperately need to buy more!!!
• It does exactly what i want it too – hides my spots and tiny bit under the eyes makes those dark circles gone!
• As you can tell I like Rimmel London – and apparently my skin tone is beige!

Bronzer

2True / All Over Natural Bronzing Powder / Shimmering Bronze / £2.29

• This is Superdugs’ own brand of cosmetics … Not going to lie I have had better bronzer’s (like ones from Avon or Bourjois) – the only reason I have this is because my old Bourjois chocolatey one ran out and I “borrowed this one from my mum” and have just never bothered to give it back! But the brush is so light and fluffy and applies it really well! (I have no idea where the brush is from sorry)
• BUT I actually do like this – if your looking for a cheaper version of the more expensive bronzer’s this is perfect as it gives you a nice colour and is great all over your face to make you tanned..
•  The good thing is it doesn’t make you look orange or like an “Oompa-Loompa” ( from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory ) unlike some other bronzer’s! Also the suntanned look it gives you doesn’t fade throughout the day ( which is surprising from such a cheap product ) – so that’s probably why I haven’t bothered to give it back to my mum!!!

Contouring

Makeup Revolution London / Sculpt &                                          Contour Kit / £4

• This is also from Superdrug and its THE best thing I have ever used – in the palette the colours look really strange but when they go on your skin the bronzer is perfection ( I only use this one for contouring not for all over my face ), the blusher is a gorgeous pinky dusky rose colour and it brings out your natural rosiness in the apples of your checks and the highlighter is brilliant, its a bright shimmering white that reflects the light spectacularly!
• I don’t believe you need to spend hundreds on make-up for it to be good quality because everything in my make-up bag is less than £10 but they do the job – really well even if I don’t say so myself and this is a prime example of this!
• Also you don’t even need a lot on the little brush provided (which is also really good and gets right in to where you want it to go) so this will last you a long time! – 100% recommend this!

Mascara

Maybelline New York / The Colossal GO EXTREME! Volum’ / Black Waterproof / £7

• BEST MASCARA I HAVE EVER OWNED – that’s pretty much all I have to say!!!!!
• MAKES MY LASHES LONG AND SEPARATED!!!
• (Ooookkaay calm down…) Its really good … (***just breath***) … its not clumpy or have that awful smell that some mascaras do – plus the wand is really cool its designed to double the length and volume of your lashes and it doesn’t half do that job!! – If you are in need of a new mascara you must get this!

Eye-Liner

Avon / Super Extend Liquid Eye Liner / Black / £6.50

• This is the first eye liner I ever bought and i will never buy any other! its is just perfect the pen is great for doing the normal line of your top and bottom lashes but its also amazing for doing “winged” eye liner.
• The colour is jet black and doesn’t fade it dries super quick and doesn’t smudge.
• Also I left it open without its lid accidentally one night and it had not dried up which I was soo happy about (don’t know if that’s an actual selling point or if it was just luck!!!)

Eye Shadow

Makeup Revolution London / Eye Shadow                                  Palette / Naked / £7

• This is such a great palette because it has all the colours that I love to use and these is a large amount of eye shadow provided so it will take a while to run out! Plus its so cheap for 12 shades!!!
• The best thing is the colours are super pigmented and it comes with some matt shades and some glittery
• It is so versatile because it comes with nude shades for a natural day look and really dark shades for a smoky evening look – this is a smaller version of a massive palate that I own which has around 150 shades in it which if this gets 20 likes I will do a review and swatches or an eye makeup look using it!!!

Lip Glosses

Bourjois Paris / 3D Effect Lip Gloss / 05 / £8

• I genuinely adore this lip gloss my reasons are; make my lips look fuller, the colour is a gorgeous salmony peachy but natural looking pinky shade, it is super glittery, it doesn’t leave my lips feeling sticky or irritated and it really does stay on your lips for exactly how long you need it to – which usually is for a whole day
• The packaging is to die for!!! (I just want to leave it out in my room so everyone can appreciate its beauty!!!)
• Overall, it make my lips look and feel sooo nice!!! And the price is brilliant for the product you get!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss / Exotic Island / £7

• If you read my last post you will know I have Tanya’s nail polish in Little Duck but I said her lip glosses are much better and this us why; its a gorgeous bright pink shade, the duffel applicator is so soft and makes it simple to apply, it leaves your lips moisturised and super shiny and it doesn’t leave your lips sticky
• It also smells like your favourite summers day perfume and easily makes your lips the focal point of your make up look
• BUT like a lot of lip products its downfall is disappearing when you eat and drink and it becomes very transparent looking and like you’ve put it on really badly – but the good points out way this negative!

Lipsticks

Avon / Extra Lasting Lipstick / Pink Perfection / £7.50

• The colour is a a bright shiny pink it is my ultimate favourite lipstick because it stay on ALL day even if you eat or drink and it feels soo soft on my lips and makes them look so perfect!
• it smells so fruity and is great for so many occasions – I have worn it out for a birthday party and I have even worn it for school
• This is definitely something I will be repurchasing again and again – there is also dozens of shades which I will also need to try out! And at this price I will easily be able to do so!!!

Maybelline New York / Super Stay 14hr Lipstick / 510 Non-Stop Red / £7

• This lipstick is out to fool everyone!! It looks closer to a dark pink shade BUT it is a spectacular bright red it is a more than gorgeous colour!!!
• I bought it for a Halloween costume a few years ago ( I know at this point you will be screaming at your digital device wonder what I was …. Soo I may as well tell you … I was Minnie Mouse okayyy!!!) and it was perfect so I couldn’t stop using it so I have had to repurchase it many times!
• This has the best smell out of all the lipsticks i have and have ever had ….. To me it smells like strawberries but not normal strawberries it smells like a super sweet and juicy summery strawberry that makes you want to eat your own lips!!!

Other

EOS Lip Balm / Strawberry Sorbet / £4

• Yes I know this is not make up buuttt I physically cant leave the house with out one of these lip balms … my lips are soo dry all the time and these help stop that! This is one of my favourite flavours (idk) it smells really sweet and fruity but not sickly sweet.
• It feels so refreshing and moisturising but the best part is the fact that its not oily like Vaseline is because I HATE that sticky feeling Vaseline gives you! This has soo many benefits for your lips and that’s why I love it!
•  And how can you argue with the design of the product/packaging … it look like an egg … the lip balm is round … and you put the round thing round your lips …. and of course as usual it all boils down to the fact its PINK!

Hand Cream

Soap & Glory / Hand Food / £5

• Yes …again its not make up but it can live without this with me at all times … its amazing!!! It smells fantastic to me this smell reminds me of hundreds of years ago where woman has musky perfume on that smells like lavender and rose as its such a classic and timeless smell!
• It leaves your hands soft and smelling good for a long time and the best part I it doesn’t make your hands really oily and greasy!
• The funny thing is when I go out and have to take a smaller bag instead of my hand bag the thing I worry about is it the bag will fit my hand cream in it … rather than worrying if it will fit my phone, keys or purse!!!!!!
